MDG 41 Guidelines

These guidelines were originally set in place by the NSW government following an increase in fluid injection injuries. As identified in the MDG 41 guidelines, pressurised fluid power systems are a potential major hazard which may result in serious and fatal injuries if uncontrolled.

The MDG 41 guidelines were first drafted in 2010, and finalised in 2012, with the Queensland Department of Mines and Energy accepting and supporting the guidelines.
